C-Raksha (“C-Raksha”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a QR-based digital platform that verifies and tracks CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) cylinder safety and hydrotest compliance, connecting vehicle owners, CNG filling stations, cylinder testing centres, and City Gas Distribution (CGD) companies through our website (craksha.com) and our suite of applications, including the Filler App, Dealer App, Testing Centre App, and the QR Identity system (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you when you use the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:
- Vehicle owners who register cylinders and scan QR codes to verify compliance
- CNG filling station operators using the Filler App
- Authorised dealers using the Dealer App
- Cylinder testing centres using the Testing Centre App
- CGD companies and government/regulatory partners integrated with the Platform
- Visitors to craksha.com
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information in connection with the Services:

4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Verify cylinder hydrotest status and flag expired or near-expiry cylinders
- Cross-check vehicle and cylinder details against government registries (including Vahan) as authorised by PESO
- Generate and maintain each cylinder's unique QR identity and compliance history
- Operate the Filler, Dealer, and Testing Centre apps and route compliance events between them
- Provide customer support and respond to enquiries
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, tampering, or misuse of the QR identity system
- Generate aggregated, de-identified compliance analytics and reports for CGD partners and regulators
- Comply with applicable law, including the Gas Cylinder Rules 2016, IS 8451, and directions from PESO or other regulators
- Improve, secure, and develop new features for the Platform
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With CNG filling stations and testing centres, limited to the cylinder and vehicle data needed to verify compliance at the point of service
- With CGD companies and regulatory bodies (such as PESO), where required for compliance monitoring, audits, or as mandated by law
- With government registries (such as Vahan) solely to verify vehicle details, under our authorised access
- With service providers who host our infrastructure, send notifications, or provide analytics, under contractual confidentiality obligations
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection under an equivalent privacy policy
- When required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of C-Raksha, our users, or the public
6. Data Retention
We retain personal and compliance data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining an audit trail of cylinder safety history for the regulatory retention periods applicable under the Gas Cylinder Rules 2016 and related regulations. Where data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where a longer retention period is required by law or for the resolution of disputes.
7. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews of the Platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access, correct, or update the personal data associated with your account
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to our regulatory retention obligations
- Opt out of non-essential communications (such as promotional messages) at any time
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing, where consent is the basis for that processing

9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for use by adults operating vehicles, filling stations, testing centres, or dealer businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Integrations
The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party systems, including government registries such as Vahan and payment or notification providers. This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the revised Policy on this page with an updated effective date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice through the Platform.
